American Dream is a vast indoor complex that features an array of shopping and dining options, along with a theme park, water park, and ski slope. The mall has an interesting design with unique decorations throughout, but additional attractions are set to arrive in Spring 2023. While the stores available are typical for malls, there are luxury brands located in other parts of the mall. However, American Dream currently lacks interactive activities suitable for all ages and staple food items.
Nice, clean and pretty new mall. It is fairly new some shop are still not open. This is very big mall with indoor water park. There are a-lot of fun activities for kids. They have very high end and well maintained areas where shoppers can lounge and take a rest. Its a great place to bring kids and relax. There is a $4 parking fee after first hr. We spent around 2.5 hrs and paid $4.I hope coming summer this place will be crowded.

This is an interesting mall. I think if you have nothing to do and want to walk around a mall this will be a good place. Parking is $5 per hour. The dinning options are good. There are interesting decors around the mall but for the most part it looks like more attractions are coming in Spring 2023.The stores are your typical mall stores there are some luxury brands at other areas of the mall.I think for now this is just a really big mall and nothing more to it. Hopefully it will have more interactive activities for all age groups and also staple all food items.

Title: An Unforgettable Experience at American Dream, NJ!Review:I enjoyed visiting the American Dream Mall and Theme Park in East Rutherford, New Jersey, a little over a year ago. My experience was nothing short of spectacular, to put it simply. As soon as I stepped foot into this modern architectural marvel, I was taken aback by the cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the place. The food court boasted an assortment of cuisines, accommodating the most diverse palates. I remember relishing a quick meal even after the official closing time, all thanks to the incredibly courteous and understanding staff. Their commitment to service, coupled with their unwavering smile, made the whole experience even more delightful. While my shopping experience was limited, as I was primarily there for a particular group event, I was able to appreciate the sheer variety of retail stores available. The space steadily revived after the pandemic, gearing up to offer an even more extensive range of shopping opportunities. But what made my visit memorable was the exclusive after-hours access to the indoor water park, DreamWorks Water Park. Words fail to encapsulate the magnitude of fun this place held. Every aspect of this park exceeded my expectations, from its massive size to the well-maintained temperature. It was adorned with whimsical decorations, further enhancing its appeal, while the safety measures in place made me feel secure throughout my visit. It was an unforgettable night with thrilling rides, roaring laughter, and countless beaming faces. One of the significant advantages of the American Dream is its easy accessibility via public transportation from NYC, making it a breeze for those like me who didn't have a car on hand. However, should you decide to drive, rest assured there's ample parking space available.Despite criticism about high prices and crowded weekends, my experience was nothing short of five stars. For those planning a visit, I would advise going during the week if possible to avoid the rush, and it wouldn't hurt to bring your food and drinks if you're on a budget. But regardless of these minor considerations, the unique entertainment options and splendid service at American Dream make it an unmissable destination!I'm looking forward to my next visit, and I urge everyone to experience the charm of this place at least once.

This mall is huge with lots to do and see. I first came when they just opened and a lot of the stores were empty but after a few years they have added a lot of stores to fill the empty spaces. I visited the water park this time around and my family had a lot of fun. The tickets were on the pricey side at $70 for each adult and kid but we enjoyed our visit. They have a lot more attractions inside the mall like indoor snowboarding, Nickelodeon rollercoasters, mini golf, etc. You can also rent little furry animals to ride around the mall. Overall this is a very kid friendly place to go to but prepare your wallets as I’m sure your kids will want to do everything!

Went shopping with my kids. Lots of shops and lots to do. Nickelodeon universe, aquarium, ice rink and a lot more. Toys r Us was a great stop and the prices were not bad. Rosetta bakery has fresh and delicious Italian pastries. The mall was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Will return again.

Huge mall! Great designs! Just everything costs something to enjoy it. The arcade even cost money to enter. Would have been more enjoyable if it wasn't for the bomb threat and still having to pay to leave despite there being a bomb threat

Nice and clean mall. It is fairly new so that is a given but the place is well maintained. Right now (Jan. 2022) some shop are still not open but pretty sure once pandemic restrictions ease up, this place will be packed.Snow place is still closed and an employee that I asked still does not have an idea when it will open. Its one of the attractions of this mall with the water park. And there is a lot more to open this coming year. There are areas where shoppers can lounge and take a rest and I can say they all look high end because of the couch and chairs used. There is even a park covered in moss art. Its a great place to bring kids and relax. There is a $3 parking fee and I believe its free for the 1st hour. Will surely come back with the kids

We often visit here with kids .. great place to spend a day with kids. in winters especially there are many rids and okay areas for kids. There are some fun rides for adults as well . It's has indoor water park which is really nice .it has food court as well . THE NICKELODEON adventure park has reasonable price . You have option to take full day pass or you can take minimum 18 points pass with which you can have 3 rides of 6 point or 6 rides of 3 point. The ambience is very nice . There is separate area built for breastfeeding moms and that's great. Throughout the day some characters visit which kids love. You can meet them and click pictures with them. So overall it's a fun place to spend a day with kids .

Even with a decent portion of the mall not being occupied by stores there is still a great selection of shops and dining experiences. Avoid Sunday visits if possible as clothing stores and other certain stores are closed. Both the theme park and water park have lots to offer but are a little overpriced. The ice skating rink and ski slope add to the activity offerings as well. Overall the mall has an energetic vibe that will only improve as more stores open.

I have NEVER been to a mall as big as this. Besides it's sheer ginormous size its absolutely beautiful. Well taken care of plus there is So much to do. Lots of stores and food. Amazing attractions. More malls could learn a lot from the American Dream mall. Go check it out for yourself. Amazing doesn't even come close to describing it properly.

Huge and fun place. There is something for everyone to do here. We had a bit of trouble finding the entrance to the correct parking lot, which, surprisingly, you have to pay for. The variety of attractions here is unimaginable! And there are many options for kosher food, it's just a shame that the toilets near the kosher restaurants really stink.

Attended the Asian Lantern Festival by Fever on the first weekend of December. It was such a beautiful experience! Loved seeing the mall decorated and lit up like a Christmas tree, with all the bright lights and intricate lanterns. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for something to do indoors, especially during the winter months. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved it (the cats and ducks were my favorite and the goddess was boyfriend's). We got a cute little souvenir at the end, too. 🌟

The Avenue at the American Dream is one of my favourite places to visit. Even though they are all luxury stores, when you walk by them, you just feel so amazed and automatically feel like a millionaire. An adequate blend of high fashion with decorative art installations, there is a reason why this mall is called American Dream. 5/5

Worth the money. Many fun rides for all ages! Went here with my 4 year old - we made it on almost all the rides. 48in is the height to get you onto every ride but if your at least 42in you can ride with an adult on most rides. Grabbed some hot dogs and candy- prices were not bad. Everything was clean, well kept and safe. We really enjoyed our time here and recommend for everyone. Some rides are even wheel chair accessible for kids! Awesome awesome indoor park!

Step into a world that lives up to its name - a colossal, magnificent mall that dazzles the senses with its stunning interior design. Everywhere you look, there's something to delight the eye. This is a place where you can easily lose a whole day, though a $5 fee awaits you for the privilege of parking. There are plenty of attractions for kids and families, including theme parks, and ample seating for those simply looking to soak up the atmosphere. Of course, with endless high-end shops to explore, from clothing to culinary delights, you'll want to do more than just window shop. When hunger strikes, head to the food court or one of the restaurants and recharge your batteries before hitting the arcade or diving back into the shopping fray. The adventures here are endless - an indoor playground for all ages. This is where excitement never fades, and where I'll never tire of returning.

Multiple food courts. Shops and restaurants everywhere with many more "coming soon". The restrooms I used were clean. Parking is $5 (as of Oct 2023).

This is such a large, beautifully designed mall. There is so much to offer here. They have lounge areas everywhere, shopping of all kinds, and fun family events to do right in one place. We came here to enjoy Big Snow, to teach our kids snowboarding. We only walked around a bit, but it was already beginning to be beautifully decorated for the holidays. We also decided to stop and get some food. We ordered 🍕 from Best Pizza, which was delicious and salad from the Brisket place that was really good too. The parking was a bit confusing with GPS, and signs were not very clear, but we figured it out. Parking is free for the first half hour and then 5$ for the rest of the day.

I was excited to visit this mall since it is the second biggest mall in the United States but I have to say it wasn’t that great. The stores and restaurants weren’t that original so I’ve already been to most of the stores in the mall or some that are very similar. The main reason why the mall is so big is because it has a nickelodeon waterpark, a Nickelodeon amusement park and an entire ski slope, so a majority of the mall is already meant for children. It would’ve been better if there were more stuff for adults. Also this mall definitely needs a movie theater, I have no idea why this mall doesn’t have one.

I definitely love this mall. It was not very crowded when we visited. We brought our friends from France and this was their first American Mall experience and they were blown away! There is something for everyone to do. They even have indoor skiing and snowboarding! The Nickelodeon Universe park is really well done. There are plenty of things to do to keep you busy all day here and each time I come back more and more shops open up. I highly recommend making a visit here, especially if you've never been before!

The American Dream Mall in New Jersey is a remarkable destination, offering a modern and immaculate shopping experience. It's clear that the state has invested heavily in the facility, and the results are impressive. The mall's sleek design is complemented by clever management of its space—empty stores are seamlessly concealed, maintaining a vibrant atmosphere.Section A is where most of the action happens, packed with a diverse range of attractions. Foodies will be in heaven here, with choices ranging from trendy burger spots like MrBeast Burger to artisanal bakeries, donut shops, and coffee spots. It’s a culinary playground that caters to all tastes, making it a great destination for families and food lovers alike.Though we only spent a few hours at the mall, we still managed to walk 3 miles—testament to its sheer size and variety. For anyone seeking a mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment, the American Dream Mall is a must-visit. Whether you're looking to spend the entire day or just a few hours, it offers an exceptional experience for all ages.

First time visitors here at American Dream. It truly is a beautiful mall. The aesthics are just fantastic. So many attractions, food and drink options, an amazing variety of stores. I really liked H Mart which is a mainly Asian food item store. We did the water park and Angry Birds mini golf. The area itself is very busy, this mall could certainly be highly intimidating for many people. It's $5 for parking all day. Bring lots of money because this place isn't cheap (although nothing is cheap anymore) You'll need a minimum of a whole day to scratch the surface. This place is massive. Use the self serve kiosks to find your way around. We will definitely be back someday! This mall is a 3 hour drive from our home.

I went to the American Dream food festival on Saturday and to be honest it was very interesting. There was so much food everywhere which was amazing. I only got to try a couple of things because I was only able to stay for 2 hours but what I did try was absolutely amazing. I didn't care for the music selections and It was very hot outside.... This is the biggest food festival that I've ever been too. Even thou the food that I did try was amazing I will not return for this particular festival. I took as many pics as I could before I left.

I feel like I could easily spend a week at this mall and still not see everything. There was truly so much to do here with shopping, eating, and activities. We were here for about 5 hours (2 hours to try the indoor snowboarding, very fun!), ate at mrbeast burger (good!), had dessert at the Oreo cafe (delish!), and walked around the amusement park area and around the shops. Parking was $5. I had a great time and would love to go back!

Whether you’re visiting for the incredible shopping, entertainment, or dining options, you’re guaranteed a memorable experience. The sheer scale of the mall is impressive, with a mix of luxury brands, popular retailers, and even a variety of unique boutique shops. But the shopping is just the beginning. The entertainment options are unlike anything else. DreamWorks Water Park, with its thrilling water slides and wave pools, is a must-visit for families and adrenaline seekers alike. Nickelodeon Universe offers rides and attractions for all ages, making it a perfect place to bring the kids. For something a bit more relaxed, the indoor ice skating rink and mini-golf are perfect for an afternoon of fun.Dining at American Dream is equally exceptional. From quick bites to fine dining, there’s a vast selection of options to suit any taste. It’s a nice, clean and affordable mall. This is my favorite mall ever. It’s big. It has the comfiest chairs and couches and some nice carpeted areas. There’s so many stores in here that are my taste from Hot Topic to Zara, H&M and multiple others. There’s also a cool virtual reality arcade called Hyperspace. The food court here is amazing and I really enjoy hanging out in this mall for hours.

The place is beautiful with all the lighting in the shopping part of the mall along with over 300 retail and almost over 100 dining options. They also have an indoor amusement park and an indoor water park which is perfect to do if you want to get out of the cold temperatures outside and more. So if you wanna go to a mall, go there because they have the biggest selection of retail and dining.

One of the biggest mall in the US!! It was my first time visiting and I was very impressed by the beautiful design and decor. The paintings on the walls were gorgeous. They had spring flowers on display. There are some cool activities for kids and adults. They had a nice selection of high end stores and other stores too. I was surprised to see an indoor waterpark, ice skating rink and Big Snow place for sledding! The food court had pretty good options. I definitely will be back soon!

This Mall is a dream. I love it. There's something for everyone from every walk of life, every socioeconomic stratum, every taste. There are art exhibits, quality department stores like Saks and other quality shops, luxury stores that may not offer higher quality, but charge exorbitant prices for people who need to feel good about themselves by paying a lot of money for things. There are poor quality shops that charge a lot (displays and rent are high), and there are regular stores. There's an entire children's indoor playground area, an ice rink, an event arena. It's unbelievable how much there is to do here. I'm pleased with the parking, restrooms and diverse population this place attracts. Just walking around is an attraction. Great experience. I highly recommend it.

Great place for kids, for sure. Usually, I don't care for malls, but this one is an exception once you get in the door. Parking is a different story. Expect to walk a lot! Great places to eat for adults and kids. Was here between 4-5 pm on a Saturday, and it was pretty busy. I imagine later is much busier. The Yard house burgers and brews are great by the way!

We went when it first opened and have watched it expand and improve more and more over the years. It is much more well known today than when it first opened and is an incredible and popular destination. This place is much more than a mall and has everything imaginable from great shopping, extraordinary food options, and world class entertainment. We’ve been here many times and will continue to come here. There is much to experience so if you feel like it’s overwhelming, take it little by little. It has Ferris wheels, roller coasters, water parks, aquariums, museums, ski slopes, golf, and it continues to expand. Lots of space to walk and do whatever you dream. Highly recommend a visit here. If you can go during the weekday, it’s much more manageable. 👍🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

American Dream Mall: A One-Stop Destination for Shopping and FunThe American Dream Mall is a unique blend of shopping, dining, and entertainment, offering something for everyone. The mall’s modern design and spacious layout make it easy to navigate, with a wide range of stores from luxury brands to popular chains. Whether you’re hunting for the latest fashion or specialty items, there’s plenty to explore.Dining options are diverse, from quick bites in the food court to sit-down restaurants that cater to various tastes. The mall’s true standout is its entertainment offerings—Nickelodeon Universe, DreamWorks Water Park, an indoor ski slope, and more make it a perfect spot for family outings. However, be prepared for crowds and long lines, especially on weekends.Parking is ample, though finding a spot close to the entrance can be challenging during peak hours. The mall is accessible by public transportation as well.To keep in mind1) Wheel Chair accessible2) Rental Strollers3) Though mall is open till 9 on most days, activities and most luxury stores close at 7.4) Always check for packages when planning for attractions.Overall, the American Dream Mall is more than just a shopping center; it’s a full-day destination where you can shop, dine, and play. While the crowds and prices might be a bit much for some, the variety of experiences offered make it well worth a visit.

So I’m gonna start with the parks first, since that was the main reason for my family visits. My siblings and I are all young adults, less than 30 years old. I wanted to like Nickelodeon Universe, but the reality is it’s NOT for young adults. The only ride that was remotely close to that was The Shredder, but everything was just mediocre. I wouldn’t advise anyone above 21 to come to that park. Leave it to the kids. Now dream works water park, I won’t judge it too harshly because it’s a water park. They have some decent slides actually, they have a very steep drop slide, and that was definitely an experience. The wave pool doesn’t get any deeper than 4.5ft, at least when I was there, which is disappointing to me. Overall, the water park gets an E for everyone from me, because it does have something for everyone. Now the mall itself, you need to have money if you’re gonna come to this mall without a doubt. Bring your most comfortable shoes, because this place is a huge Gucci belt. They have some of the most name brand shopping stores you could think of. The mall has beautiful architectures , with vast amounts of decorations, aesthetics, and art.I do plan to visit again in the future.

We stopped in quickly to pick up a birthday gift, I only intended on going to the one store but this was my first visit and I had to take a look around. The mall is beautiful, so much art on the walls in the areas that aren’t occupied by stores, plenty of areas to sit/lounge areas. Lots of places to snap some pics for social media pages. The mall is broken up into 3 sections, the luxury section (which I somehow managed to find myself in first) the regular shopping section and the amusement areas. If you have time to kill it’s a good stop to make.

Lisa was the perfect host 10/10. The pizza was a little greasy, but good and the drinks were unlimited.Overall, the kids had a blast with all the activities and rides that were available. Fun for the whole family. Shopping, water park, amusement park, mini golf, a multitude of dining choices, and lots more, with ample parking. We spent the day. (Husband and I are 50, kids: 18, 16, 12) (Did not go to the water park) Walked through the Nickelodeon Amusement Park ( kids have been on the rides before and loved them) We took pictures with our favorite character statues and even met TMNT Raphael in person, it was so cool. The black light mini golf course was fun for us all (note: we did see a dad run through with his daughter (about 4) she seemed very scared of the dark and space themed obstacles, but we also saw other families with kids that small playing and having fun with no issue) we had a blast, scoring was done via Smart phone instead of paper and pencil, but was easy to do.The paradox museum was a lot of fun for all of us. Full of optical illusions, and amazing photo ops.We chose MrBeast Burger for lunch. Great food, large portions, friendly staff reasonably priced.A variety of stores made shopping easy for the whole family.A great way to spend a day out as a family. Highly recommend.

Review of American Dream Mall in NJWe recently visited the American Dream mall for the first time, and it was an incredible experience! The mall's grand ambiance immediately caught our attention, and we were excited to explore everything it had to offer. There were countless food options to choose from, but we decided to dine at Carpaccio Restaurant. The ambiance there was marvelous, and although the food was a bit pricey, we thoroughly enjoyed every dish.As for the mall itself, it’s truly awe-inspiring. The decorations are beautiful, and the indoor water park is impressively large—definitely a must-see. In addition to the water park, they have roller coasters, cable cars, and fun rides for both kids and adults, like the safari animal ride. Our first visit was more of an overview to see everything they have, and we’re already planning our next visit to try out the rides. Overall, we loved this mall and can't wait to explore more on our next trip.

This was an experience, to say the least! Never in my life have I seen a mall of this magnitude. With over 3 MILLION square feet of shopping and entertainment, my wife and I were in absolute heaven on our kid free weekend trip from Maine! We were just completely blown away with how many indoor activities there are to explore here, including; a full sized SKI MOUNTAIN, an 18 hole mini golf course, a HUGE indoor amusement park and separately the largest indoor water park in the northern hemisphere, a bowling alley & Lazer tag, just to name a few. Completely mind blown 🤯 and we are already looking forward to returning in the near future with our kiddos! If you're in the NJ area and have the time, absolutely check this out!

One of the most beautiful malls I've ever seen. Great stores... restaurant options are FANTASTIC. THE BATHROOMS ARE IMMACULATE. I have to mention them because I was blown away at how beautiful and clean they are. This is not common at most malls...I took my kids to Nickelodeon and water park and they had a BALL. Truly a kids dream come true.Lastly... as we were leaving to the parking lot, I was carrying a ton of things in my hand, and my 7 year old was exhausted and afraid to go down the escalator, a mall security guard saw what was happening from a far and ran to her assistance.🥹🥹🥹 Literally made my eyes water. He held her hand and eliminated her fears. So grateful for this angel, i snapped a photo photo of such a special moment. He is A king indeed... God bless him.I will definitely be back...❤️

10 out of 10. It’s indeed the biggest mall in the entire East coast like they say. It’s humongous. In the mall is a water park, a whole park with rides like six Flags great adventure (if you’ve been there before), mini golfing, museums, almost 450 + brand stores, uncountable restaurants with amazing food etc.. the lists are endless. I was walking around taking photos and enjoying the scenes without knowing how much I was exercising. I was only there for 3 hours and had 12000 steps. It’s definitely a must go if you happen to be in NY or NJ.
